Los Angeles Pierce College receives $2 million to help develop biomanufacturing baccalaureate
We are very grateful for the support from Congressman Brad Sherman (CA-32) for our current efforts to develop a Biomanufacturing Baccalaureate degree program at Los Angeles Pierce College. LA Pierce College (LAPC) received $2 million Community Project fund backed by our congress. We'll use this support to acquire Biomanufacturing equipment for our new Biomanufacturing lab space!
So much going on, and I am honored to be a part of the dynamic team at Pierce. This program will provide opportunities for our community members to climb up the socioeconomic ladder and be active participants in the current Biology Revolution.
We are looking to expand our partnership with local Biotech companies. Please let me know if you are (or if you know anyone) a part of a Biotech company in the Greater Los Angeles area, particularly in the San Fernando Valley, Westlake Village, and Thousand Oaks.
