San Jacinto College: Cell Therapy Workforce Development

Exciting news from Texas!  The San Jacinto College Center for Biotechnology is partnering with CellReady (a privately held cell therapy contract development and manufacturing organization) to launch a 4-week program designed to provide readiness training for new hires in biomanufacturing. In just 160 hours the trainees will get both theoretical and hands-on learning in the fundamentals which will prepare them for the production of cell therapies (an innovative cancer treatment) using the G-Rex cell production platform. This partnership is a win-win as CellReady now has an effective approach to new hire onboarding so that new technicians are ready to make a difference in a highly-regulated field quickly. And San Jacinto College has added to its offerings of innovative trainings that meet real-world industry needs.
