'Tis the season - for grant writing
It’s that time of year. The ATE proposal deadline is October 14th and getting closer every minute. To smooth the path, I compiled a few resources that might be helpful for those of you in the throes of writing.
1. Are you have trouble getting started? This article from Dr. Lisa Seidman should provide plenty of inspiration. Dr. Seidman outlines her process and in doing so, helps you remember why you wanted to write the grant in the first place.

2. Helpful guidance with making a BioSketch. The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) has a tool (SciENcv) for making a BioSketch (and updating it, too).

3. The 2021 ATE program solicitation
4. The Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG) Never fear, this is the version that goes into effect on Oct. 4th, 2021. This is the one you want to use.
5. ATE projects related to biotechnology. The NSF expects you to know about the kinds of projects that have been funded. We've gathered the active projects all here for your learning pleasure.
