Dr. Lisa Seidman has been part of Bio-Link since it's inception. Dr. Seidman is part of the biotechnology education program at Madison Area Technical College and a long-time director of the North Central Regional Bio-Link Center.
Dr. Seidman has contributed many novel ideas and materials to the field of biotechnology education. She is a well-known author, who wrote a widely used biotechnology lab manual and reference guide, that has recently been published in a second edition (Basic Laboratory Methods for Biotechnology: Textbook and Laboratory Reference, Second Edition, Benjamin Cummings, 2010).
She also began the Bio-Link curriculum clearinghouse and created laboratory and lecture courses in basic laboratory methods, human stem cell techniques, mammalian cell culture, bioprocessing, and other topics.
