Linnea Fletcher is one of Bio-Link Co-Pis.  Dr. Fletcher served as a program officer at the National Science Foundation for the past two years and has recently returned to her former position as head of the Biotechnology Program at Austin Community College.  Dr. Fletcher is passionate about education and outcomes. Dr. Lisa Seidman has been part of Bio-Link since it's inception. Dr. Seidman is part of the biotechnology education program at Madison Area Technical College and a long-time director of the North Central Regional Bio-Link Center.
Dr. Seidman has contributed many novel ideas and materials to the field of biotechnology education. She is a well-known author, who wrote a widely used biotechnology lab manual and reference guide, that has recently been published in a second edition (Basic Laboratory Methods for Biotechnology: Textbook and Laboratory Reference, Second Edition, Benjamin Cummings, 2010).
She also began the Bio-Link curriculum clearinghouse and created laboratory and lecture courses in basic laboratory methods, human stem cell techniques, mammalian cell culture, bioprocessing, and other topics.
