Program Description

Albany State University offers a variety of courses related to biotechnology.  All Biology, Chemistry, and Forensic Science majors are eligible to be part of the biotechnology concentration. The courses in the biotech concentration are:

  • Fundamentals of Biotechnology
  • Bioinformatics
  • Current Issues and Topics in Biotechnology
  • Genetic Engineering
  • A Biotech-Related Research Course, Senior year
