Program Description

Biotechnology is a general degree with applications across a wide range of biological fields from soil science to human vaccines and everything in between. The A.S. degree and Certificate provides students with a solid foundation in biology and chemistry as well as hands on skills applicable to a wide range of jobs. Graduates have been extremely successful, both in pursuit of higher degrees as well as careers within the biotechnology industry. Due to the wide range of employment and transfer options any student with an interest in the biological sciences can be successful in biotechnology.
