In addition to offering the AAS Biotechnology Degree, Biotechnology Certificate, Biomanufacturing Certificate, and Cell & Gene Therapy Certificate, the Biotechnology Program offers:
- Intermediate level hands-on lab courses and business-oriented courses through BioTrain including a Protein Purification Course and a Clinical Trials Management course
- Highly advanced training aimed at active researchers we have Bio-Trac (https://biotrac.com/) which offers courses in CRISPR, R, FACS, Exosomes and other cutting edge research areas
Apprenticeships: Montgomery College has been approved as a MD Registered Apprenticeship Sponsor. The college works with GSK to offer Apprenticeships in Biomanufacturing, Automation, Biochemistry, and Quality Control.
Tuition: Apprentices and Early College students have their educational expenses (tuition, fees, books) completely covered.
