Santa Ana College

The Biotechnology AS degree is designed to give students skills and experience working with proteins, nucleic acids, cell culture and basic lab skills to obtain jobs as laboratory assistants, biomanufacturing technicians, biological technicians, or to work in university research labs.  In addition, the biotechnology AS degree meets the requirements for transfer to local universities or to the BS Biomanufacturing programs at Solano Valley College and Mira Costa College.

Biotechnology Technician Certificate of Achievement QA/QC Microbiology

The Biotechnology Laboratory Technician QA/QC Microbiology Certificate of Achievement is designed to give students skills and experience working in an environment which is being monitored for microbial contamination.to obtain monitoring environmental conditions, testing sterile product, nucleic acids and cell culture to obtain as employment as a QC or QA microbiology assistant.
