Environmental Health and Safety

Environmental health and safety programs train students in approaches to protecting the health and safety of workers, ensuring sure that federal regulations are met, and  the handling, storing, and transporting of hazardous materials.  These skills are particularly valuable in laboratory settings, throughout the life sciences community.  Duties may include record keeping, regulation enforcement, and hazardous waste disposal.
