Food processing involves quality control and processing in food manufacturing companies like microbreweries, distilleries, or companies that produce ice cream, or products like sausage, yogurt or cheese. A program may prepare students to be laboratory technicians in environmental or food testing laboratories or to work in the food processing sector of biomanufacturing.
