Marine Biotechnology

Marine biotechnologists apply technology and molecular biology methods in working with marine systems or organisms.  They might culture algae for biofuels or or other products, study fish vaccines, perform genetic testing to identify fish or other organisms, or purify products from marine organisms for use in pharmaceuticals or food.
