Event Description
The Immune Epitope Database (IEDB) is a freely available resource funded by NIAID to advance immunology research.This three-day event is delivered via Zoom and will cover the fundamentals of the IEDB database, tools, new features, and other specialized topics.
The annual workshop is designed with all users in mind - from those new to the IEDB to those with extensive experience wanting to enhance their research skills.
Date: Tuesday, October 20 - Thursday, October 22, 2026 Time: 8am - 12pm Pacific Time
Where: Delivered virtually via Zoom
Cost: Free of charge
Day 1: Overview of the IEDB curation process, database structure, and content. The different database query features will be demonstrated and a research example will be provided (iedb.org).
Day 2: Overview of the epitope prediction and analysis tools on the Next-Generation platform (nextgen-tools.iedb.org).
Day 3: Specialized topics will be covered, including cancer and HIV NIH resources.
