InnovATEBIO Community: InnovATEBIO Hub Reports and Next Steps

Join the InnovATEBIO Leadership Team as the Hubs report on their activities and next step plans. Be prepared to ask questions, and share how the hubs can help you with your program, and future initiatives.

The following hubs will give 10' presentations:

1. Alumni Network Hub - The Alumni Network hub will report on the tools and strategies they have developed to build, grow, and engage alumni networks, foster industry connections and empower alumni to support bioscience workforce development. You can find resources for speed networking and other tools at Alumni and Industry Engagement Project.

2. Biotech Careers and Entrepreneurship Hub - We will describe how students can use alumni profiles, career, skills, product descriptions, and company maps to learn about the biotech industry at Biotech-Careers.org. We will also present Biotechopoly™ Antibody Edition - a game where companies race to get their antibody drugs to market.

3. High School Pathway Hub: The High School Pathway Hub will share lesson resources and training opportunities to begin or strengthen your program.

4. Industry & Workforce Development Hub: The Industry & Workforce Hub will report on planned activities such as the Bioscience Leadership Institite (BLI), Bioscience Administrators Program (BAP), National Advisory Commitee (NAC) and how we can help support the programs with our ability to connect with industry

5. Supply Chain Hub: Learn about updates and resources at the Supply Chain Hub to help you integrate projects into your courses.

6. Undergraduate Research Hub: Learn about the InnovATEBIO Undergraduate Research program.

7. Genomics Hub: The Genomics Hub will report on its initiative to support the broad adoption of Oxford Nanopore DNA sequencing in biotech education – including a new website and much-reduced pricing on start-up equipment and reagents.
