2023 Advanced PCR Techniques Webinar Series Part 2 Presentation

Filed under:
Presentation:

In this 2 part series, we bring together experts in the cutting-edge applications of droplet digital PCR (ddPCR) and real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR). These guest speakers from industry and academia describe how they integrate these advanced PCR techniques into their research and pedagogical strategies for incorporating these powerful and engaging topics into your class.

In Part 2 Claire Guion and Maranda Thanasiu from Andelyn Biosciences, a gene therapy contract development and manufacturing organization based in Ohio, will present on uses of real-time and droplet digital PCR (ddPCR) in viral vector development and manufacturing and careers in this type of CDMO. Prior to Andelyn's presentation, Andrew Prantner, Field Marketing Specialist, from Bio-Rad Laboratories will provide an introduction to advanced PCR technologies and applications used in Andelyn's work, and following Andelyn's presentation, Beth Elam Mchaud from St Louis Community College and Damon Tighe from the Bio-Rad will discuss strategies for introducing these applications to students
