Reducing variability/increasing reproducibility is essential in biotechnology, whether one’s job is producing a biopharmaceutical product, performing research, testing samples, or any other function. At Madison Area Technical College, we teach a course in basic laboratory skills to individuals who already possess at least a BS degree in a biological science; many of the participants have advanced degrees and/or industry experience.
