Des Moines Area Community College Biotech Grad Contributes Experiments to the International Space Station

DMACC Biotechnology program graduate Lyndsay Baker has accomplished one of her dreams. In November she will have an experiment sent to the International Space Station for research. Lyndsay hopes that the algae grown as part of her experiment will produce the compound astaxanthin to help keep astronauts healthy.
