Strong work-based learning programs greatly improve student success, helping them gain technical and professional skills that advance their career objectives.  The Collaborative to Strengthen Work-Based Learning in Biotech is a group of biotech community college programs and related biotech organizations that seek to work together and share strategies for strengthening work-based learning (WBL) in biotechnology:

People networking at City College of San Francisco
  • Sharing best practices
  • Building a community of practice
  • Developing regional awareness of WBL initiatives
  • Uncovering obstacles to growth and development of WBL initiatives

If you are interested in learning more, or joining the Collaborative please contact the Collaborative Organizer, James Lewis at jlewis@ccsf.edu, visit the website for resources, and join in on the upcoming February 21st on-line meeting from 10 AM to 12 PM PST, to learn which organizations are currently represented in the collaborative and how you can work with them too!
