Build your own recruitment video

Pellet Productions and the South Carolina Advanced Technological Education Center are partnering to offer a workshop on:

 “Build-Your-Own Recruitment Video” (Beta Test) 

The application deadline is December 15, 2015 at 5:00 pm (your time zone).

Limited to one application per college.  

Applicants will be notified of selection by Jan. 15th, 2016.

The workshop will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 in Florence, South Carolina.

Overview

 A Build-Your-Own Recruitment Video customization tool is being developed that will enable any educator (teacher, recruiter, marketing professional) to select micro-content (small video snippets) from the extensive ATETV video repository and string the micro content video segments together to convey recruitment or career awareness messages for technician education programs of study or related STEM education at the two-year college level or for high school feeder programs. A video composite, once created, can be customized for any institution with local photos, logos, names, addresses, contact information and music. The ATE customization tool will take the creator’s content choices and produce a customized YouTube video product that will “belong” to the creator. Individuals can create as many videos as they like on as many topics as they wish. The videos can be any length (length will depend on the number of micro-content segments the creator selects for a particular video).
