Job: Biotechnology Academy Lead Teacher wanted at GMGI

The Gloucester Marine Genomics Institute in Gloucester. MA, is looking for a lead teacher for their biotechnology academy. 

Recently, the Academy was awarded a Workforce Skills Capital Grant by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Funding is being used build-out and equip a state-of-the-art biomanufacturing facility with the purpose of adding this in-demand skill set to our standard curriculum, and to double our student capacity.

We are currently seeking a Lead Teacher who shares a passion for education and the desire to build innovative science curricula and programs that include bioprocessing. The Lead Teacher will be a critical member of the instructional team, assisting with curriculum development, and guiding delivery of new programs. The successful candidate will report to and work closely with the Education Director to ensure implementation and completion of educational goals, which include teaching and supervising other instructors in bioprocessing and participating in the continued growth of students and graduates. The Lead Teacher will also help develop a network of science and education professionals by promoting Academy programs to biotechnology companies and participating in community outreach events.
