Bio-Link launched a new webinar series on April, 1st, 2016 to help inform the community about the materials and resources that have been created through the Bio-Link National Advanced Technology Education Center of Excellence.

The first webinar provided an overview on Bio-Link's activities and participation in the area of biotechnology workforce education.

In this webinar, Dr. Elaine Johnson shares the big picture, a bit of Bio-Link's history, and introduces the new AC2 Bio-Link Regional Center.  Dr. Sandra Porter discusses Bio-Link's websites:  Bio-Link.org and Biotech-Careers.org, Dr. Jeanette Mowery provides an overview of Bio-Link's work on biotechnology skill standards, Bio-Link's Course in a Box program, and a new interactive movie, created in partnership with Pellet Productions.  Last, Dr. Sulatha Dawarkanath talks about using educational Contract Service Organizations (CSOs) to provide students with hands-on work experience and her experience with these at Austin Community College.  Each item will be the subject of a later webinar.

Our next webinar will be Friday, May 13th, on Biotech-Careers.
