Research Opportunity for Undergraduate Students at UNLV
Mechanisms of Evolution is a University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) program funded by the NSF Research Experiences for Undergraduates that aims to provide undergraduates with hypothesis-based projects that investigate one or more mechanisms of evolution, promote careers in science, reinforce the connection between genetics and evolution, and highlight the accomplishments of evolutionary scholars. At the end of the program students will have an opportunity to present at a scientific colloquium. Students from underrepresented groups and from academic institutions with limited research opportunities, including two-year colleges, are strongly encouraged to apply. Travel reimbursement and stipend are available. Approximate program dates are June 3, 2024 to August 8, 2024.
The application deadline is March 1, 2024. Take a look and apply soon!
