Applications are now OPEN for the 2026 Summer Undergraduate Research Program at the University of Washington's Institute for Protein Design, directed by Nobel laureate David Baker! Spend this summer in Seattle conducting hands-on computational and experimental research. Work alongside world-leading scientists creating new proteins to solve challenges in medicine, technology, and sustainability.

Program highlights:
– $3,200/month stipend for full-time research
– June through August 2026
– Weekly seminars and mentorship
– Present your research at a symposium
