Description: Bio Blend responded to biopharmaceutical manufacturing needs for a multiskilled workforce particularly for those entering process and maintenance technician positions.The project includes redeveloping four courses to merge components of both Applied Engineering (AE) and Bioprocess Technology (BT) Associates degrees for an initial smaller cohort of students. All cohort students received internship opportunities and industry-standard DeltaV training/certification in a simulated biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment as well as the potential to earn a BioWork certificate.
