As more autistic neurodivergent students enter educational settings, they continue to face challenges and barriers to learning and succeeding. Featuring a neurodiversity paradigm, this presentation will highlight the primary differences which influence the overall experience of individuals with autism in educational settings. In this talk, Glenna Osborne from The University of North Carolina TEACCH Autism Program will explore the culture of autism, focusing on understanding strengths and learning styles.  Tools and strategies which can support autistic neurodivergent students, as well as benefit all students will be discussed.
