Thank you for your interest, this event has been FILLED. Please watch the Bio-Link events page and/or contact John McDowell (jmcdowe8@dtcc.edu) to sign up for information about workshops in spring and early summer 2019.
Delaware Tech will be hosting a two-day workshop focused on the exciting and rapidly developing area of CRISPR-based gene editing.
This FREE Gene Editing Workshop will be presented in partnership by Delaware Technical Community College and the Gene Editing Institute at Helen F. Graham Cancer Center and Research Institute, part of Christiana Care Health Services.
The workshop will include information and curriculum with hands-on laboratory training. At the conclusion of the workshop, you will be able to incorporate gene editing curriculum into the courses you teach.
Funding for this workshop comes from the National Science Foundation (NSF-ATE Grant # DUE 1700660), and supports 15 community college instructors to attend the two-day conference, as well as reimbursement for travel and accommodations.
Please to reserve your spot. If you are unable to attend this fall, or the 15 spaces are filled, two additional workshops will take place in spring and early summer 2019.
