Event Description

Starting, maintaining, and building a college biotechnology education program is challenging.  Recruiting students, finding equipment, hiring instructors, keeping current, connecting with industry, working with administration, the challenges are many.

Fortunately, you are not alone.  We can tackle our challenges together.

We are inviting college biotech program directors, faculty, and other interested parties to join us in discussing the best ways to meet our common challenges.

In this session, we will divide into breakout groups, discuss the different challenges associated with running college biotech programs, and consider possible solutions. At the end of this 1.5 hour session, we will regroup and present our ideas.  Even more exciting, Dr. V. Celeste Carter from the NSF ATE program will be joining us.

The meeting will be virtual and free.

We hope to see you there!
