This workshop will be held in Solano College’s new $ 34 million biotechnology training facility that was built, in part, to support the college’s new Bachelors of Science in biomanufacturing program.  Participants will grow mammalian cells using an Eppendorf BioFlo 320 system with disposable polycarbonate bioreactor vessels.  The workshop will model how to introduce this emerging technology into a biotechnology classroom.    

Funding is available for travel and lodging.
