The National Career Pathways Network (NCPN) is a membership organization for educators, employers and others involved in the advancement of Career Pathways, career technical education (CTE), and related education reform initiatives. The NCPN Advisory Board ensures that NCPN meets the requirements of the stakeholder groups, and to represent stakeholder interests. NCPN is housed at the Center for Occupational Research and Development (CORD).
Representatives from Bio-Link, the AC2 Bio-Link Regional Center, and the National Center for the Biotechnology Workforce, Jeanette Mowery, Linnea Fletcher, and Russ Read, will be speaking on the topic of using the core bioscience skill standards to create entry-level certificates.

How to Create an Entry-Level Certificate from Core Bioscience Skill Standards NSF ATE: Core bioscience skill standards were developed and industry-validated through the national c3bc DOL-funded TAAACCT grant. Attendees will learn how to develop curriculum, assessment tools, and student support systems that ensure students master the performance indicators associated with the skill standards. The presenters will also discuss 3rd-party certification for students.
