Event Description

Some of us use microbiology regularly in our kitchens for baking bread or making yogurt.  Many people even make their own beer and wine.  Still, even as a microbiologist, I never considered teaching Microbiology through distance learning. Ms. Consani is the first person I've met who does this.  She has taught Microbiology online for the past five years using a kit from https://www.scienceinteractive.com/lab-kits/ in addition to seven years of experience teaching online labs in general biology and histology.

Speaker:  Angela Consani, MS, Kansas City Community College, Ocean County College and Gwynedd Mercy University Grad School
